03 - Dismissal

Car Riders

Car riders are picked up in the loop in the front of the school. Cars must display a Shadowlawn Car Tag with student name(s). Students are called to Gates 1-5 and are loaded into cars by staff member. Cars may not exit the loop until directed by a staff member.

Walkers

Walkers are escorted to north or south gates by a staff member. PreK-1 will exit prior to bell. All other students will exit at 3:05 bell.

Rainy Day Dismissal

In the event of a Lightning Alert all walkers are brought to the cafeteria. Parents may pick up their children by entering the cafeteria through the north gate entrance. Car and bus loading stops until it is safe to resume. Walkers will be dismissed when the lighting alarm announces all clear.

Crosswalk

If parking in the church or walking with your child, please only use the crosswalk by the north gate. A crossingguard will assist at dismissal.
